Hot on the heels of winning the BETT Award last month, I’m beyond delighted as Inclusive Stories won the Education Resources Award 2023 for Best SEND Resource or service on Thursday.
I am particularly happy with the judges comments as they perfectly articulate my two main aims for the platform. I always wanted:
a) a quality product that makes education FUN, engaging, inclusive and meaningful for our most complex and worthy children and adults;
b) Something that will help teachers’ wellbeing and practice whilst giving them more of a work-life balance.
The judges said: “The judges thought Inclusive Stories by Inclusive Technology a comprehensive and well-designed resource which provides a fun and multi-sensory way to engage young people with S.E.N.D. The resources are adaptive to specific needs and not only focus on the needs of the pupils, but also addresses teacher wellbeing and workload. The video submission “lifted the room” for the judging panel.” Wow!
