Celebrating Inclusive Stories: Finalist in the Education Resources Awards and CODiE Awards!

Exciting news! Hot on the heels of the BETT Award for Best Special Needs Product or Service, Inclusive Stories has been recognised again for its exceptional contributions. I am thrilled to announce that Inclusive Stories has been selected as a finalist in not just one, but two prestigious awards: the Education Resources Awards and the renowned worldwide CODiE Awards. This remarkable achievement highlights brilliant work done by the wizards at Inclusive TEchnology and Scott Tyrell Design.

The Education Resources Awards honour outstanding contributions to the education sector, recognising products that enrich learning experiences and promote inclusivity. Being a teacher, I am always passionate about teacher wellbeing and wanted to create something that a) teachers would be excited to deliver again and again, and b) something that was packed with resources to help with work-life balance. So, to be a finalist in the Education Resources Awards is extremely satisfying. The winner will be announced on 18th May 2023 in a glittering gala event at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham.

The CODiE Awards are renowned as the software and education industry’s PREMIER accolades, celebrating the most exceptional products and services that drive innovation and transform education. Past winners have included little known companies such as Adobe and IBM. To be named a finalist in this prestigious, worldwide competition is a remarkable achievement that solidifies Inclusive Stories’ position as a leader in the field of SEND technology. I am absolutely thrilled!

I presented to the CODiE judges in February and received exceptional feedback about the product and it’s inclusive vision, so fingers crossed when the results are announced on June 22nd.

Whatever happens, I am incredibly proud and humbled that Inclusive Stories has been recognised by three such prestigious awarding bodies. Knowing that my stories are being loved by, and helping, thousands of children and adults across the world makes my heart almost burst!

I always knew Sheldon the Snail would make it in the end!
