Sheldon Snail’s Sunbathing Session
An oldie but a goodie here, with some nice little updates. Sheldon is a slow, sloooooooow snail who decides to go to the beach on a hot summers day. By the time he has the things he needs and has crawled there, well, I won’t spoil the end…
Somewhat less disgusting than my normal fare and a bit more suitable for smaller children this story deals with weather, time, thinking/life skills, the beach and contains a terrible joke at the end.
By clicking Sheldon you will find:
Sheldon Snail’s Sunbathing Session story as a Word file;
Sheldon Snail’s Sunbathing Session Presentation as a PowerPoint file;
A ChooseIt Maker 3 Share Code;
Sheldon’s Beach Race – A cool little switch activated Snail Race. Sheldon and his snail friends are racing to the beach, who will get there first? Nice little random number racing app – remember, please gamble responsibly!
Snails for Race – Flash cards for the Snail Race game.
I See Sheldon – A nice Communicate in Print quiz to use with students while telling the story.
There’s also a folder imaginatively called Art Stuff in there. During the Sheldon topic I worked with a wonderful artist called Shoreline Sally who makes beautiful cards out of things she finds on the beach. My lovely bairns replicated this to make some awesome pictures. In the folder you will find:
A Shoreline Sally Quiz.
Sally Pictures to Make sheets to train students to make ‘junk’ pictures.
I have big plans for little Sheldon so watch this space!
