Hartlepool Heroes – Teacher of the Year 2023.

I am humbled and delighted to say I won the PFC Trust’s Hartlepool Heroes award for Teacher of the Year. I was nominated by several member of staff at Catcote Futures and shortlisted from a list of hundreds.

This award means an awful lot to me as I was nominated by people who work with me every day so see me warts and all. The award winners on the night were truly inspirational so to be counted among their number is incredibly gratifying.

My heartfelt thanks to the people of Hartlepool for their kindness and friendliness. I feel proud to be adopted as an honorary Codhead!
